Me. Sunday Sewcial is all about me. And you.

Happy Sunday, everybody! Welcome back. It’s all about me today. And you.Grab a cup of something and pull a chair up to the table. Did anybody bring cookies? Donuts? I guess it might have been nice if I’d made some rolls or something, but well, I didn’t. Even if I had they would probably already have been gobbled up by the men in my house.

meI hope you’ve all been enjoying the Sunday Sewcials. I love being able to ask questions and read your answers. Comments on the blog make me unreasonably happy any day, but even more when I get to learn a little more about you.

If this is your first week here, feel free to read through weeks 1, 2, and 3, if you like. You’ll get a good idea of the sort of questions I ask and who else is reading this blog.

This week I’m turning the tables on you all. Usually I ask the questions and you all are gracious enough to answer them. And now it’s your turn to ask me something. You probably already know a lot about me since I am such a blabbermouth (and some know me in real life) , but ask away. I reserve the right not to answer a question on the grounds that it may incriminate me, but otherwise most topics are fair game. You may have already read my Welcome page, but if not, just to keep from asking something that’s already out there, go do that. I’ll wait.

Ready? Ask away! I’ll answer all of your questions in the comments. Be nice, huh?

If there is a subject you’d like to discuss on an upcoming Sunday, feel free to speak up about it. About the only thing I won’t talk about here is politics, and that is a non-negotiable. It’s safer for all of us that way, don’t you think?

Have a terrific Sunday!

    Beer or wine? Favorite?

    • Both…and neither. I rarely drink anymore because it seriously does NOT agree with me. Of the two, probably wine. Or beer. 😉

What is the most memorable/favorite quilt you’ve ever appraised? Why?
How was the Joe Cunningham experience? Sharing any tidbits?
If you could go anywhere for vacation, money no object, where would you go and why?

    • Gosh…favorite and most memorable quilt. Two come to mind, both from before I was actually certified, but was working with Teddy. Some gentlemen brought in a couple of quilts they had gotten…one was a drop-dead gorgeous 1830s Sunflower top (I think it was a top) that was pure perfection. But another they had I could not even touch. As I recall, it was green and white, 1850s, maybe…but it was so unutterably sad. There was nothing technically wrong with it, but for lack of a better term, it’s aura was just tragic. No story with it, but I suspect there was something bad in its past.

Vacation…there are so few places I would not go. I love to travel and see and do…right now I am thinking I would visit Russia. I would also like to visit Japan, Australia, India, Nepal, and and and…oh! Norway, Sweden, Denmark…
