Creativity Challenge — Previous Challenges

This week’s challenge was really timely, we were to go back and work on previous challenges.I knew I would be working more on my books. Maybe it would have been good to go back to my week 5 and do the fourth iteration of “flame,” but books and paper call to me almost as much as fabric and quilts.

While I’m still supposed to be putting my workroom into some semblance of order, I keep moving over to the right end of my table to add something else to my junk journal. “Just this one more thing,” I think, and then I find or think of something else I want to include. Addictive, I tell ya!

I sometimes wonder what people will think if these books outlast me. They will likely think I’m off my nut because some of this stuff will make no sense to anyone. And to that I say, “Oh WELL.” Whoever finds it all will probably say the same thing as they toss my books into the trash, but that’s a-ok with me. For now I am enjoying them and that’s good enough.

So, what did I do this week? Here are some photos:

Can you tell I love doing this? Well, probably.

The coming week’s challenge is going to be a good one too…I can see it going in lots of fun directions and it’ll leave time for more gluing-stuff-in-books. Color me happy.

Be sure to check back later today for a guest post by a friend of whom I am simply in awe and her latest project. You won’t want to miss this!

Until then…
